Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive opportunities across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic business models with $500K+ annual budgets
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to anticipate technological and societal shifts affecting our industry
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs to accelerate R&D pipelines
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and investors, securing buy-in for transformational initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and exponential technology principles
- Measure and report on innovation KPIs, iterating strategies based on market feedback and emerging data
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching successful products/services with 3+ years market impact
- Expertise in futures thinking methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, technology forecasting)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovation projects with measurable outcomes
- Experience leading cross-continental teams and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
