Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Architect innovation frameworks bridging R&D, product development, and market entry
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough technologies in AI and quantum systems
- Guide cross-functional teams through agile innovation sprints with 18-month roadmaps
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and integrate emerging startups
- Present technology impact briefs to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs measuring innovation velocity and market disruption metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in corporate R&D or innovation leadership within tech sector
- Proven track record in launching products with 3+ year market cycles
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic AI
- Experience with innovation methodologies (TRIZ, Stage-Gate, Lean Startup)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven forecasting capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized innovations or patents
