- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and carbon-negative AI
- Manage $15M+ annual innovation budget across 3 core verticals
- Partner with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich on breakthrough research projects
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Build and mentor 12-person innovation lab with PhD and industry experts
- Secure 5+ patents annually in emerging technology domains
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in tech R&D leadership with 3+ at director level
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations
- Proven track record scaling AI systems to 10M+ users
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and neuromorphic hardware
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) exceeding $5M
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks
- Patents in quantum machine learning or sustainable computing
