- Lead strategic planning for 2026 product roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Direct cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Forge partnerships with startups, academia, and industry leaders for innovation acceleration
- Develop intellectual property portfolios and patent strategies for future technologies
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board members for funding alignment
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory landscapes affecting 2026 commercialization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation management, R&D leadership, or strategic tech development
- Proven track record delivering commercialized products from emerging tech concepts
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum systems, or synthetic biology
- Executive experience scaling innovation teams in high-growth environments
- Strong understanding of IP strategy, tech transfer, and venture capital ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required
- Certifications in Agile/Scrum, Lean Innovation, or Technology Foresight preferred
