Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to map future industry disruptions and opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype futuristic solutions with 3-5 year commercialization timelines
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends for executive audiences
- Advise C-suite on long-term risk mitigation and innovation investment strategies
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future concepts into actionable business KPIs and growth models
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, synthetic biology)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Published thought leadership on future trends (white papers, TED talks, etc.)
- MBA or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven scenario modeling experience
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
