Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 trend reports covering AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital transformation
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients navigating 2026 market uncertainties
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with emerging futures
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford HAI on horizon-scanning research initiatives
- Present at Davos, CES, and other global forums on future-proofing business models
- Maintain proprietary database of 2026 disruptors and exponential technologies
- Mentor junior futurists in forecasting methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technological disruption (e.g., AI ethics, quantum computing)
- Proven track record of developing scenario-planning tools for enterprise clients
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into executive insights
- Experience with forecasting platforms like Gartner Hype Cycle or Deloitte Tech Trends
- Portfolio of 2025+ trend analyses or horizon-scanning documents
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
