- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Manage R&D incubators for breakthrough technologies with $10M+ budgets
- Present future-vision keynotes at global tech summits and policy forums
- Develop patent portfolios for emerging technologies with 15+ filings annually
- Mentor cross-functional teams in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Future Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight at Fortune 500 tech companies or research institutions
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technological forecasting
- Proven track record of incubating commercialized innovations
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario modeling
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, AGI development, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
