What You'll Achieve:
You'll lead horizon scanning initiatives, identify emerging tech paradigms, and develop actionable frameworks for our 2026 product ecosystem. This role requires synthesizing complex data points into compelling narratives that guide executive decisions and inspire cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario planning models for long-term innovation pipelines
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with future tech trajectories
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product roadmaps
- Produce visionary whitepapers and thought leadership positioning Horizon Dynamics as a future-shaping entity
- Monitor geopolitical, socioeconomic, and technological megatrends with quantifiable impact assessments
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in futures research methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or major tech publications
