Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their industry-specific impacts by 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic models for market disruption and opportunity identification
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision priorities
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Report' with data-driven trend forecasts and risk assessments
- Design innovation pipelines for next-gen products/services targeting 2026 market readiness
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify future-defining startups and technologies
- Represent company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurism research
- Proven track record of publishing future-trend analyses or scenario-planning frameworks
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) strongly preferred
