Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies and paradigm shifts affecting 2026+ markets
- Develop and publish annual Future State Blueprints for key industry verticals
- Design and lead strategic innovation sprints with R&D partners and academic institutions
- Present visionary scenarios to executive boards and investor committees
- Build and lead a cross-functional Futures Council of domain experts
- Quantify market readiness curves and adoption timelines for emerging technologies
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing architectures and user experiences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or equivalent (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech or business journals
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills for executive and technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-oriented initiatives
