Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Innovation Roadmap, identifying disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on future industry disruptions
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate tech, neurodiversity, etc.) to inform strategic priorities
- Design and implement foresight methodologies using data science and human-centered research
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2026+ challenges
- Present strategic recommendations to investors, board members, and government stakeholders
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-thinking principles and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, books, keynotes)
- Experience with foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Systems Dynamics)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable impact
