Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Produce executive-level strategic briefings on disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into roadmaps
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers and keynote presentations
- Manage a $2M innovation incubator fund for experimental projects
- Mentor junior futurists and build a foresight competency center
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (AI, Web3, neurotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Experience with C-level stakeholder management and board presentations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused initiatives deployed at scale
