Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop strategic frameworks for quantum-AI convergence and biotech augmentation
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, neural interfaces)
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and global research institutions
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at Davos, Web Summit, and CES
- Guide ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neuro-technology deployment
- Drive $50M+ innovation portfolio allocation across 12 emerging sectors
Qualifications
- PhD in Futurology, Systems Theory, or related field with 10+ years strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of commercializing technologies with 2026+ deployment horizons
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized AI systems
- Published author in Nature Futures or equivalent peer-reviewed futurism journals
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies (STEEP-PESTLE, Delphi analysis)
- Board-level experience with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale tech companies
- Security clearance for classified government innovation programs (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three technologies deployed at scale post-2020
