Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and societal trends to develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts for 2026 market readiness
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into R&D priorities and innovation pipelines
- Develop and communicate compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through data-driven modeling and scenario planning
- Drive organizational culture shifts toward adaptive innovation and long-term strategic agility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field; advanced degree strongly preferred
- 7+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or futurism with proven impact on long-term planning
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications (AI, Web3, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into executive-level narratives
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping projects or published foresight work
- Thrives in ambiguity and possesses intellectual curiosity about what's next
- Track record of influencing C-suite decisions through data-driven future insights
