Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze global tech/social/economic trends through 2026 horizon
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, neurotech)
- Present trend insights to executive leadership and board committees
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D and product teams
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for investor and stakeholder audiences
- Monitor geopolitical shifts impacting industry landscapes
- Build partnerships with academic futurist networks and think tanks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech ecosystems (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (preferred)
