Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global trends across technology, economics, and social behavior to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on future market disruptions
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026+ industry transformations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate disciplines
- Published thought leadership in futurism or adjacent fields
- Mastery of foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience presenting complex future scenarios to executive audiences
