Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 strategic foresight frameworks through scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Produce quarterly horizon scanning reports on emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Partner with R&D to align innovation pipelines with long-term market evolution
- Design resilience strategies for geopolitical and climate-related disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Portfolio demonstrating complex foresight projects
