Responsibilities
- Develop 10-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-engineering, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional teams of PhD researchers and industry veterans
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and investor pitches
- Pioneer ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems
- Partner with UN and WHO on global sustainability initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications in MIT Technology Review and Scientific American
Qualifications
- PhD in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- 10+ years in R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in quantum computing or AI ethics (h-index >30)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Proven track record of securing $10M+ in innovation grants
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation tools
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish preferred for global partnerships
