Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop and present 5-year innovation roadmaps to executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing strategic innovation initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors impacting future market landscapes
- Design and implement scenario-planning frameworks for business resilience
- Create compelling narratives to communicate future vision to stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum)
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
