Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market disruption
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future products/services using design thinking and scenario planning
- Build quantitative forecasting models to evaluate investment opportunities in emerging sectors
- Present compelling futuristic visions to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes for early-mover advantages
- Document strategic insights in comprehensive trend reports and white papers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or technology consulting with future-focused projects
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic innovation deliverables
- Experience with strategic frameworks like STEEPLE analysis or Delphi method
- Certification in Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
