Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate emerging global tech trends through market analysis and academic partnerships
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members for strategic decision-making
- Manage innovation portfolio with $50M+ annual budget allocation
- Author annual 'State of 2026' whitepapers for industry stakeholders
- Build and lead a team of 8-12 futurist researchers and innovation architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Technology Futures, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential tech convergence (AI, IoT, blockchain, quantum)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Published thought leadership in innovation journals or top-tier media
- Experience leading global innovation initiatives with $100M+ budgets
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
