Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions with 5+ year market impact
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for frontier tech R&D
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and regulatory landscapes
- Present visionary frameworks to executive leadership and board of directors
- Mentor a dedicated innovation lab team of 12+ specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies with $50M+ impact
- Expertise in at least three exponential technologies (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
