Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and market trends through 2026
- Develop and maintain 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product strategies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-generation concepts and validate market viability
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a network of industry futurists, academic researchers, and technology pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends and their societal impact
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist research or strategic frameworks
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
