Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and circular economy principles
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum cryptography and decentralized AI systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget across 5+ R&D verticals
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption and ROI in emerging markets
- Mentor junior strategists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from WFS or APF) required
