Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning for 2026+ innovations across quantum, AI, biotech, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop and maintain a 3-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with market disruption timelines
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders
- Conduct scenario planning for technological convergence and societal impact assessment
- Drive patent strategy for emerging technologies and intellectual property portfolio development
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Manage innovation lab budgets and resource allocation for future technology incubation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-relevant domains (quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products with 5+ year development cycles
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management experience across technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., WFS certification)
