Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces) and assess their commercial viability by 2026
- Develop and maintain a strategic technology portfolio aligned with market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Create executive-level technology briefings and investment recommendations
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption timelines
- Mentor junior strategists in future-gazing methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
- Experience with technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi method)
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and business domains
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (papers, patents, or keynotes)
