Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Architect scalable frameworks for AI-human collaboration systems
- Partner with C-suite to secure $50M+ R&D budgets for future tech initiatives
- Author thought leadership papers published in Nature Technology and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD researchers in applied quantum computing applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (VC-backed exits preferred)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neuromorphic computing, or climate tech
- Published research in top-tier journals (h-index >20)
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants or similar funding mechanisms
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
